About Us

CQID Employment Services is a Job Service Australia (JSA) provider contracted to deliver services in Bundaberg, Eidsvold, Gin Gin and Childers. We have skilled people looking for work and available to commence immediately. Our Employment Officers are experienced in the employment services industry and have a strong knowledge of local indigenous community issues, practices and history.

Support for job seekers

• Assessment of skills and abilities and the identification of barriers that prevent you from finding a job.
• Development of an individual employment pathway plan. This may include training opportunities, development of a resume, work trials and work experience    programs.
• Assistance with job search, including advice on the best way to look for jobs and access to a computer and printer.
• Connecting you with employers
• Linking you in with other service providers on non-employment related matters, such as housing, health or legal issues.
• Accessing funding for individual workplace modifications.
• Post placement mentoring and support
• Awareness of cultural issues and practices

• Free employment service, matching the best candidate with your vacancy.
• Providing cultural awareness training
• Indigenous wage assistance
• Access to funding for workplace modifications
• Assistance with setting up your Indigenous Employment Strategy (IES) or your Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

 
Indigenous Employment Program

The objective of the reformed Indigenous Employment Program (IEP) is to increase Indigenous Australians employment outcomes and participation in economic activities. CQID programs include aspiration building, employer support training and workforce development.
