Nominations for the 2012 CQID Indigenous Reconciliation Carnival are now closed. It is hoped that 2012 will attract over 10,000 spectators and players. The venue has now moved to CQUniversity and entry to the fields is via Norman Road.
Whether you are a player or a spectator you are guaranteed to have a fantastic time. You will witness spectacular rugby, cultural dancing, eat traditional food and have the opportunity to be celebrate reconciliation and help spread the message of petrol sniffing prevention. Childrens activities will be run on Friday and Saturday.
The Carnival now has a facebook page "CQID Reconciliation Carnival". Regular updates will give live scores and photos. The Reconciliation Carnival also has a website: http://cqidcarnival.com.au You are encouraged to try them out.
