Homelessness to Housing (H2H)
While CQID does not provide housing directly, we deliver a range of vital services to support individuals and families experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. These services assist adults facing long-term or recurring homelessness, including those sleeping rough or living in public spaces. Our caring team actively engages with people, offering face-to-face support, referrals, and case management to help them connect with the right housing pathways and support systems.
We work to prevent homelessness by supporting individuals who are housed but at risk of losing their tenancy. Through early intervention and personalised case management, clients receive the help they need to maintain stable housing and avoid entering the cycle of homelessness. This proactive approach aims to address challenges before they escalate.
For individuals, couples and families already without shelter – such as those sleeping in public spaces, in vehicles, or tents – we provide access to short-term emergency accommodation. For individuals, couples and families, CQID offers continued support to help them transition into safe and secure long-term housing.
