Woorabinda Driving School

Helping young people living in Woorabinda to get their driver’s licence

Woorabinda Driving School

Since 2012, CQID Woorabinda has been supporting local young people in community to obtain their Learner Driver Licences. Each month, we assist between 5 to 10 individuals on their journey to becoming licensed drivers.

Over the past four years, in partnership with the Department of Transport and Main Roads, CQID Woorabinda has helped young people complete their Driving Tests and Learner Driver Hours – achieving a 95% success rate, which surpasses Queensland Police Service results.

The Driving School program is grounded in culturally safe practices and face-to-face learning, offering vital support to those who may struggle with reading and writing – barriers that could otherwise prevent them from gaining a licence.

CQID Woorabinda also assists young people in community with applying for essential documents such as Birth Certificates and Identification, further supporting access to our Driver Training and Learner Licensing Programs.
