The Hervey Bay Cultural Family Partnership Service aims to support and encourage our Young People to address, manage and overcome the life challenges and obstacles that contribute to anti-social behaviours.

CQID youth workers build strong and trusting relationships with our Young People and their families to navigate challenging issues like risky behaviours that can lead to a negative spiral.

Individualised practical support is offered to help Young People achieve their goals, gain a sense of identity, belonging and connection. Supporting a Young Person to achieve their goals is done through intensive case management, 1 on 1 mentorship, group sessions and pro social activities.

Who is this service for?

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who:

Are aged between 10–17
At risk of or currently involved in the Youth Justice System
Exiting Detention

Referrals can only be made by the Hervey Bay Youth Justice Service Centre.
